Macallan needs little introduction as the most famous whisky distillery in the world.
A collaboration between Macallan, iconic luxury goods designer Fabien Baron and Lalique crystal, this is a stunning single malt whisky that reflects Macallan’s aim “to create the world’s most sophisticated whisky.”
This release is presented in an exclusively designed, exquisite hand-blown Lalique crystal decanter that beautifully showcases the heart of Macallan.
The six facets of the decanter itself reflect Macallan’s Six Core Pillars which contribute to the make up of every whisky made at this distillery.

Spiritual home ? built in 1700, Easter Elchies House is the Highland manor at the heart of Macallan’s 485 acre estate.
Curiously small stills ? some of the smallest in Speyside ? there are 24 all crafted from copper and help provide the rich, fruity style of spirit.
Finest cut ? selected at just under 70%, the new make spirit that is “cut” by the distiller is highly selective, robust and characterful that contributes so much to this iconic style
Exceptional oak casks ? contributing up to 80% of the final aromas and flavours, casks are crafted to Macallan’s own specifications, with the distillery spending more money on sourcing, crafting, seasoning and caring for their casks than anyone else
Natural colour ? only the spirit and wood interaction help create the colour of the Macallan ? all colour is natural bringing rich and natural diversity through the range

Colour: Rosewood
Nose: Dried fruits ripen, then soften.
Vanilla accompanies green apple hand in hand.
Ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon create an ensemble in the background, with strong notes of polished oak and a depth of resinous, juicy oranges.
Palate: The palate opens rich in wood spices, slowly showing all their viscosity.
Wood smoke flits in and out.
Finish: The heavier raisin and sultana flavours take over, meandering to a long full finish.
